Boden’s Creative Director Justine Tabak reveals how to instantly update your wardrobe with the new season’s freshest print
Spring/summer 2015 has arrived. It might be grey outside but Boden’s new collection is a riot of bright colours and beautiful flower prints. Taking inspiration from botanical prints and vintage florals, creative director Justine Tabak describes the new designs as “a modern, sophisticated collection that celebrates British floral heritage.”
Starting with simple, unfussy silhouettes – think classic pencil skirts and sharply tailored trousers – the collection’s palette is a mix of leaf green, hydrangea purple and fuchsia inspired by “the eccentric colours of the traditional English garden.”
As with any trend, the real beauty lies in how you wear it. For maximum impact, go head-to-toe with our botanical two-piece, which Justine suggests, “looks stunning with a pair of colourful heels.” For a more understated effect, pair the graphic rose-silhouette trousers with a simple sweater or take a silky floral top and add boyfriend jeans and a leather biker for a feminine twist on everyday casuals. Whichever look you choose, it will instantly update and define your wardrobe for work, weekends and evenings out.
