Season’s Feetings

Season’s Feetings

The winter months bring many things, including a whirlwind of social events, get togethers, parties and, of course, the obligatory bracing family walk in the great outdoors.

Whatever you’ve got planned in the coming weeks, here at Boden we have every shoe scenario covered for both you and your little ones. To showcase our fancy and functional styles, we asked a few of our stylish friends (both young and old(er)) to take their favourite styles out to play.

Ngoni from IamNRC wears her favourite Christmas shoes, namely the leopard pony skin heels to her Christmas party.

Ngoni Chikwenengere of I Am NRC

“I chose the leopard print pumps because nothing makes me feel more sassy than leopard print. These heels are perfect worn with workwear or with a killer dress for date night.”

Jaclyn Craig of Bumpkin Betty

“Navy and red is one of my favourite colour combinations, especially for the festive season. As soon as I got my hands on this gorgeous red dress, I knew teaming it with a pair of navy shoes would make my ideal party outfit.

“As I’m seven months pregnant, fancy flats have taken the place of my trusty high heels. These jewelled flats are both comfortable and dressy and can be worn with both occasion dresses and casual jeans so suit all my Christmas outfit needs.”

Kim of Love Cloth blog wears the Odette ankle books, her favourite Christmas boots

Kim Turkington of LoveCloth

“I love the combination of a round-toed boot with a pair of cropped jeans for that ultimate ’70s vibe. These oxblood boots are a warm winter hue to add a rich and luxurious pop of colour to your outfit.”

Elle Pink, daughter of Keri-Anne, founder of Gingerlillytea

“I picked those shoes because they are my favourite colour and looked so pretty. They make me feel like a real fairy and like I am walking in the clouds. I wore them in the forest where i imagined I was a fairy and I flew around the trees.”

CapturebyLucy fromwhereistand boys trainers that are perfect Christmas shoes

Sammy, son of Lucy Heath, blogger, photographer and founder of Capture By Lucy

“My friend Kit has super cool trainers but not as cool as my new ones because these come with laces that glow in the dark! I really like the bright neon colour because they are so fun, and green is my favourite colour.

“Even though it’s cold outside I love being with my brother in the garden and my trainers are great for climbing trees and playing tag. I can run so fast in them! My favourite trousers are these new cosy red ones, they’re so comfy and warm!”

All that she blogger in her yellow chelsea boots, great Christmas shoes.

Penny Davis, daughter of Dominique Davis, founder of All That She blog

“Bright yellow and with just the right amount of sparkle, these are the perfect pair of boots to see us through the dark months ahead. We tend to buy Penny shoes that can be worn for every occasion and these boots achieve this brilliantly.

“So far, they’ve been on autumn walks, danced at parties, ran around at nursery and stomped around the shops (Christmas shopping isn’t her favourite past time). They’re fun and comfortable and, let’s be honest, who doesn’t need a pair of statement boots in their wardrobe?”
