Staff Style
Cathy is our womenswear Buying Manager and mother of three little lovelies. A busy bee, Cathy flits from meeting to desk oozing casual glamour and we’re all a little bit jealous. Here’s a peek at her working week.
Monday - Spent the morning reviewing sales from the week before – best and worst. What we want to repeat, any new styles we want to introduce if an area is doing particularly well and an action plan for worst sellers.
Cathy wears: Lavish Top in Navy, Skinny Jeans in Mid Vintage, Crossover Wedges in Petrol.
Tuesday – Working with buyers and designers to decide which shapes, silhouettes and fabrics we want for the AW13 range.
Cathy wears: LouLou Dress in Claret and Navy Stripe, Fabric and Beads Necklace, Effortless Suede Boots in Grey
Wednesday - Out to the shops to look at the new season styles – which designers look great.
Cathy wears: Notre Damn Skirt in Navy, Lottie Tunic in Grey Melange French Knots and last season’s leather shoes (grab a similar pair in our clearance - Nubuck Heels in Charcoal.)
Thursday – Reviewing our range structure for Autumn Winter 2013 with my Director and teams took up a chunk of the day – what do we want to carry forward, what update, what are the new trends we want to incorporate into the range. Exciting stuff!
Cathy wears: Notre Dame Skirt in Navy, Must Have Jumper in Cinnamon Melange, Party Necklace in Pewter.
Friday - A full morning of e-mails followed by more range structure planning – this time looking at which products we want in each season and determining pricing. Then home, phew!
Cathy wears: Finsbury Wool Dress in Turmeric, Party Necklace in Pewter, shoes are Cathy’s own.

Fab blog! Love Cathy’s style! I like to wear clothes and accessories that can transcend work and play. Who needs two wardrobes when you can have one that is both stylish and versatile!

Is the Lottie tunic tucked in under the skirt, or was it altered? It looks great like that, but I doubt my shape would allow the extra bulk under a skirt.
The Lottie Tunic was tucked in Kathy and didn’t leave too much bulk at all, give it a try and let us know how you get on!
Loving cathy’s look! I wear alot of Boden items to work (which also work out of work too), as do an amazingly large number of my female colleagues – any chance of a corporate loyalty scheme Jonny?! Just need to get a pay rise to pay for all the items I have earmarked from the latest catalogue!!!
